Novikovas can be a top player - Darren
Hearts coach Darren Murray has revealed that Lithuanian starlet Arvydas Novikovas has the potential to be a "top player".
The 18-year-old has been imperious for the U19s this season, scoring and setting up goals as well as creating lots of chances for his team-mates.
The former FC Vilnius youngster has also regularly starred for the reserves since his arrival at Hearts in the Autumn.
Speaking at last night's Platinum Season Ticket Holders Football Briefing Darren said, "It can often be difficult for players to adjust mentally to Scotland and Scottish football.
"Arvydas has shown a real ability and determination to match the pace and physical nature of the game
"He has superb touch and if we look after him carefully he will be a top, top player as he is one of the most naturally talented players I've worked with."
Platinum Season Ticket holders were treated to nearly two hours of exclusive debate with manager Csaba Laszlo, U19 coach Darren Murray and skipper Robbie Neilson.
The extra briefing evening - the first took place at the start of the season - was attended by 300 supporters and hosted by broadcaster Scott Wilson.
