Heart of Midlothian Football Club today announced that Christophe Berra has signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

Christophe made 137 appearances for Hearts, scoring five goals, having captained the team for the last 18 months.

A club spokesperson said, "Christophe has been a very fine servant to Hearts and deserves this opportunity.

"He has been a fantastic player for Hearts and a very good captain.

"Christophe still young and it is clear he has a very exciting future. We wish him every success."
