HNT: Juho's wait
Striker Juho Makela faces an anxious wait to discover the full extent of his ankle injury after his initial scans proved inconclusive.
The Finnish forward had the scans last week after badly twisting his ankle in training.
Although some ligament damage was pinpointed, there was too much swelling around the joint to enable a full diagnosis.
The front man will therefore have to wait until the inflammation subsides before undergoing a second scan to determine if there has been any further structural damage.
That will hopefully be in around two weeks' time, after which the 25-year-old will have a better idea of how long he is going to be out of action.
"It felt it was a bad one as soon as I went down," he told Hearts News Today.
"I was in a lot of pain and went off straight away for treatment.
"I had a protective boot on to keep the weight off and now it's a case of waiting and seeing what the scans say.
"I have one set already and will be going in for another one. It's disappointing with so many important games coming up but I suppose that's football."
