Coming of age
Christophe Berra looks like a skipper ready to come of age.
After the challenge of leading Hearts through a tough season last time around the Scotland international appears to be inspired by the way things are shaping up for next season.
And he's determined to right the wrongs of last year by ensuring Hearts players and staff stick together and work hard to bring about the ideas of new manager Csaba Laszlo.
"The new gaffer has not had much time but I think the boys are impressed by his targets," he said. "He wants to work on team shape and play good football with discipline.
"We are tying to pass the ball. There's still a few weeks before the start of the season. Our main objective is Motherwell on 9th August."
Christophe also reaffirmed, as he did earlier in the week, that he believes Hearts is going in the right direction.
"The gaffer has only been here a few days but I am really impressed with him. I think he will be working with us on the training with field with us as a team but as individuals.
"I want to be successful and I want to improve as a player. We've got a lot of young players who want to be the best they can. I think the gaffer can help us do that."
