Heart of Midlothian Football Club (Hearts) this morning announced that Michal Pospisil has signed for Sint-Truidense in Belgium.

The 27-year-old front man arrived in Edinburgh in August 2005 from Sparta Prague, and went on to make 58 appearances, scoring 14 goals.

Michal has not featured regularly this season, although he did come off the bench in last weekend's Scottish Cup draw with Motherwell at Tynecastle.

He will perhaps be best remembered for his contribution in Hearts' successful Scottish Cup campaign in 2006. Michael scored one of the decisive penalties in the penalty shoot-out win over Gretna.

A spokesperson said, "Michal Pospisil leaves Hearts with our best wishes for the future."

Meanwhile, midfielder Linas Pilibaitis has also left Hearts after his loan period expired.
