HNT: Michal's farewell

Outgoing Hearts striker Michal Pospisil today insisted he will never forget his time as a Jambo.
The Czech Republic front man has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Belgian top-flight outfit Sint-Truidense, which is based around an hour from Brussels, and is due to train with his new team-mates for the first time tomorrow.
Michal, though, revealed it was a tough decision to quit the club he joined from Slovan Liberec in the summer of 2005.
Speaking exclusively to Hearts News Today, he said: "I decided to move on as I haven't been playing as much as I'd like this season and I still feel at my age I can perform at a good level and want to play as often as possible.

"My contract was due to finish in the summer but it still wasn't an easy decision to leave. I really enjoyed my time with Hearts. My first season was great when we won the Scottish Cup and finished second in the SPL. I will never forget that. Back home in Prague I won the league title with Sparta and the U21 European Championships but the Scottish Cup win is right up there with them.
"I have to say thank you to the club for giving me the opportunity to play abroad for the first time and of course I am going to miss Tynecastle - I think it is going to be very difficult to find a stadium with a similar atmosphere. It is just fantastic.
"I'd also like to thank the fans for their support for myself and the team. I don't think I'll repeat it and I'll always remember the place. Hopefully I will come back in the future to see a game."
Michal, who said his goodbyes to the coaching staff and first-team squad at Riccarton this morning, added that the Gorgie club will always have a special place in his heart.

He said: "I made a lot of friends here and there are a lot of good people at the club who are working hard to make it successful and hopefully they get the success they deserve.
"I hope Hearts do well in the future and I'd like to wish good luck to Stephen Frail and the team. Next season I hope they are back up at the top of the league and get back into Europe. I'll always be looking for their results.
"I enjoyed the Scottish people, who were always friendly to me and we will definitely miss Edinburgh. My son David was born here but is still too young to realise what is happening.
"My wife Gabriela, though, is very disappointed we are leaving but these things happen in football and I've told her we can come back on holiday!"
