Hearts striker Mauricio Pinilla could be sidelined for the remainder of the season after damaging knee ligaments in training this week.

The Chilean international faces a lengthy period out of action after this latest setback.

He is due to fly to London tomorrow to consult a specialist and if surgery is required, the striker will be not play again during the current campaign.
