Hearts striker Roman Bednar has joined West Bromwich Albion on a season-long loan on what is proving to be a busy day of transfer activity at Tynecastle.

Roman has scored 14 goals in 54 appearances for Hearts.

Assistant coach Stephen Frail spoke to Hearts News tonight. He said: "I hope Roman will gain valuable first team experience at West Brom. We wish him well for the season ahead."

Meanwhile, Hearts confirmed today that youngsters John Neill and Mark Forker have been released from their contracts.
